Directions to the Black Labrador from the M6

From the M6 come off at Jct 36 take the first exit off the roundabout which will take you on to the A590 (3rd exit if you are coming from the North) continue on the dual carriageway for 5.5 miles. Then take the A6 slip road to South Kendal and follow the road for 2 miles in to Kendal centre. When you get to the traffic lights opposite the town hall take a left on to Beast Banks sign posted Underbarrow. Follow this road for 3.5 miles until you reach Underbarrow, you will find The Black Labrador on the left hand side just after you’ve entered the village.

Directions from Bowness to The Black Labrador

Take the A5074 (Kendal Rd) out of Bowness sign posted Lancaster/Kendal by the Rumours Restaurant follow for 0.8 mile then take a Left turn on to the B5284 sign posted Crook/Kendal follow this road for 4 miles. Once you have entered Crook you will find The Sun Inn on your left, immediately past The Sun take a right hand turn sign posted Beckside Golf Course follow this road for two miles in to Underbarrow when you reach a T-junction you will be able to see The Black Labrador opposite.
